Driving a horse at Mariënwaerdt
Aside from exploring Mariënwaerdt by foot or by bike, you can also do this seated on a horse-drawn carriage or cart. Under the supervision of skilled carriage drivers you will walk or trot along avenues and pathways and learn about the most beautiful and surprising places at Mariënwaerdt in a most pleasant way.

You can either let yourself be driven or learn from a professional how to take up the reigns and get a first impression of the art of driving a horse. It is possible to book a horse driving arrangement for up to 50 persons, either for one hour or a half day.

Horse-drawn covered wagon tours for all occasions
At Mariënwaerdt it is possible to rent a covered wagon for any type of occasion, either for children or for adults, for just one hour or for a morning or afternoon shift. There is also the possibility to combine this with a tour around the historical part of Mariënwaerdt, a visit to the organic farm or a ride to the pancake restaurant ‘De Stapelbakker’.

Closed and open carriages for weddings and parties
Mariënwaerdt has a classical black wedding carriage available for hire, drawn by two or four horses. It is also possible to arrange carriages for a wedding procession, either for a small or large company.
